Microsoft Names Mark Penn as Corporate Vice President, Strategic and Special Projects
Authored by: tiger99 on Friday, July 20 2012 @ 06:29 AM EDT
The Ill-----ti are becoming concerned that Ballmer can no longer fulfil their objectives, and need to put someone else in to do the job. Look at the guy's history....

They originally were behind a little nobody like Gates getting the IBM contract, and put Ballmer in to keep control of Gates, till he became uncontrollable and had to go, although I must say that his vile conduct in his foundation beats anything that he ever did at M$.

A lot of their plans have come unstuck recently, with Rupert Murdoch utterly discredited, and some of their political puppets falling from grace, amongst other things.

They need one, or only a few, OSs that they can control, which is why they hedged their bets by acquiring Unix (look at MerchantBridge/SNCP/UnXis directors etc) and no doubt are gaining control of Apple.

Or, it could all be a tall tale from a conspiracy theorist.....

So he was brought on to "...focus on key consumer initiatives and related
marketing efforts for the company..."

That ought to be interesting... since M$ generally has consumers and marketing
at opposite ends of the spectrum.

And wasn't Burston-Marstellar the agency behind the monumental Seinfeld-Gates
shoe commercial?

Penn was a polarizing presence in Clinton’s dysfunctional 2008 campaign.

Well qualified to work at Microsoft!
