If its Rickie Lee Jones' first album it improves the CD player for sure and
makes a new machine.

Moreover, if Rickie could have drafted a claim that captured any new an not
obvious aspects of either the method of producing sounds or the apparatus for
producing sounds associated with the combination of the cd and a cd player that
she invented, then she could have or at least should have been able to patent
it.


On the other hand, that would be a lot of work and expense for not much gain,
since there ain't no body that can sing a song like Rickie...so who could
infringe such a patent anyway?
