a) Are you willing to fix all of the bugs in
your software, when
and as they are found? Even things that
you might not consider to be bugs, but
features?
I certainly do. I bend over backwards to give
the client
satisfaction, even to the point of adding things I might not
consider to be bugs, but features. On smaller jobs, I don't
ask the client to
pay until he is fully satisfied. I give
him restricted versions suitable for
testing, then when he
is completely satisfied, I ask him to pay, then send him
the
final unrestricted release. I also fix any bugs discovered
later, even
much latter, without quibbling. Amazingly, it
has all worked out in the end.
Contrary to what I said
above, I will provide source code - at double the
price. In
other cases, I have been will to put source in escrow in
case
something happens to me. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
