In 36 years, I've never begged the court.

Apparently back in the mists of time The Register blotted its copybook
over some Apple business. Since then they have never been invited to
Apple events, and are seen as not "press" or "journalists".
The Reg has a half hearted desire to get back in Apple's good book,
so treading gently on this case makes some sense, yet on more trivial
things they still from time to time sink their fangs into Apple's ankle.

regarding "two boys are caught fighting at school, and both are punished
equally, as if that will serve Justice. However, in many cases, it may be a
bully has picked on a victim who is merely trying to defend himself, and
treating them both alike will result in a big miscarriage of justice. "

This may happen, but most of the time the two boys have been engaged in mutual
aggression, and it is not possible to say that one started it.

Samsung and Apple are both competing for business, it is not surprising that
Apple and Samsung are suing each other.
