I almost feel pity for Apple here; when the announcement was first
made, they
must have thought the foreman was fantastic, and then every time he
opened his
mouth, the lawyers must have a mounting feeling of dread and horror.
His mouth
will end up getting nearly 2billion dollars kept out of Apple's
hands.
That's not as bad as it sounds since his mouth was
responsible for the ridiculous numbers in the first place.
And it is not like
Apple isn't milking this likely temporary victory for all that it's worth while
it lasts. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

If it's as I suspect, and she's stressed about her Apple
shares

If she knew that she owned shares in Apple and did not recuse herself at the
outset, then she has more to worry about than her stock portfolio. But I assume
that if she has any stock holdings that she has her investments in a blind trust
as most other government officials do so as to totally forgo any question of
impartiality.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
