Judge does Apple a big favor
Authored by: Anonymous on Thursday, November 01 2012 @ 01:44 PM EDT
though it doesn't seem that anyone was counting out their calendars.

If Apple had been given 2 weeks to make the change, that would have pushed the 6
week duration out until past Christmas. So instead of any holiday ad campaign,
Apple/UK's home website would have still been saying "We regret to inform
you..." or whatever.

Apple requested permission to fire a footgun round somewhere above their own
ankle, and it was denied. Wonder how much squealing we'll hear over that?
