Close, but thats not quite right. "Idiot for hire" maybe, but not your
common ordinary run of the mill idiot. Have respect. He is after all a
professional.

The question one has to ask is - HOW MUCH IS HE PAID. If he is being paid well
- then I wouldnt use the word Idiot. Many other terms come to mind for someone
who will take money for behaviour that stuns most people ! ... BUT I wont
repeat them here.

He's selling the story that his readers want. There's only the thinnest
pretence that it's analysis or reportage.

Florian is NOT an idiot,
Authored by: albert on Friday, November 23 2012 @ 12:52 PM EST
he is a well-trained propagandist. Right or wrong, his opinions are clear, he
choses his facts carefully, makes no intentional factual errors, etc. Contrast
him to Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck.

Ad hominum attacks should not be allowed here. If Florian was an idiot, MS,
Oracle, etc. would have dropped him long ago.

The sad fact is that people have a propensity to believe anything they read,
especially if it comes from an 'expert', and the internet has bred legions of
'experts'. The fact that Florian is wrong most of the time means little to his
handlers.

Never confuse idiocy with paid shilling, its not fair to legitimate idiots, and
it does the shill's job for him.

Just Pre-Ruling Press-Releases
Authored by: Anonymous on Friday, November 30 2012 @ 01:06 PM EST
All of FOSSPatent's work seems to be press-releases distributed by lawyers
assuming the judge will rule in their favor, before the judge actually does so.

That explains, with perfect clarity, the timing and accuracy of FOSSPatent's
journalistic work: there is none.
