But there apparently are stats that show that
gun owners are much more likely to commit
suicide, due to the easy availability of
the means. If you are depressive, you
seriously should not own a gun, because in a
low moment, you might just do it.

Please think seriously about this.

If you've really been on that cliff multiple times, you would have suffered
"professional treatment".

With luck, and some exaggeration, thirty percent of those facilities will do
something that is useful in the short term. The rest of them do their utmost
to
aggravate the reasons why suicide is the only solution. (This is the first
Christmas in five years that i haven't been in the suicide ward of a local
hospital.)
