I went to feedly and found I could customize it to look like
either a: google reader or b: google currents. A great
tradeoff, personally. I liked google currents layout but could
not stand that you can't edit it from the PC.
That aside, you still can't put your gmail inbox as a feed
into feedly, sadly. (this is something you could do with
reader). [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I was really upset but it made me look around for alternatives. Frustrating
because what I found were mainly icon/picture based readers that you have to
have an account with. Then I accidentally found newsfox, an add-on for firefox
which I really like, I just pin it in the browser like I did Google reader. I'm
surprised that I have not seen it recommended as a replacment. Maybe it's
because I don't want a icon/picture interface just a something easy to keep up
on feeds. Of course maybe I am just an old fart not wanting to change my ways..[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
