The BBC is a federation of warring tribes. Even within departments such as News
you will find differences of opinion played out in editorial policy.
The lack of sameness is one of their better features :-)

"First, Appleās market research is a trade secret..."
What a bunch of horse manure!!!! All one needs to do
is say something is a "trade secret" and it automatically
so. "I took the bus to work this morning". Q: "By what
route did you come?" A. "Sorry I can't tell you that as it's
a trade secret." "I live in a house". Q.: What size is your
house?" A.: Sorry I can't answer that as its a trade
secret." I just hope that the judge does no buy this
horse manure.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Lemme just polish that survey result for you Guv'nor.
I'm not sayin' anything, y'know what I mean, but where I come from
people like the BBC go out and hire a survey firm with just a smidgin
more independence than this one.
