You guys aren't the only ones. I don't use iDevices, but my wife has a iTouch
that I periodically have to reset for her - I think the next time that happens,
I'm gonna convince her to ditch it for a non-iDevice.
Additionally, when discussing electronics, I no longer simply listen when a
friend is discussing their newest iDevice. Previously, I took the position that
it didn't matter if someone preferred iOS, Windows or *nix. I use Linux daily
and think that we'd all be better off if everyone know their way around a CLI,
but I wasn't going to evangelize on the subject. But now, during a discussion, I
make it a point to educate people about the harm that Apple is attempting to
inflict upon the industry.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I used to respect Apple (was familiar with them before they got really
popular).
Now I will avoid them if at all possible.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I will not buy another Apple device until they drop the Android thermonuclear
war.

My housemate has never liked Apple, or its products. Her choice is either an
iPhone, or an iPad. Android, and *Nix are out of the question, because the
required A11Y software is only available for Windows 7/Win8, or iOS mobile
devices.
