What is it with the US and Beer?
Authored by: Anonymous on Tuesday, July 02 2013 @ 06:07 AM EDT
It's not just France, it happens just about everywhere that wine with meals is the norm for all ages and social groups.

It seems that only Anglo-Saxon stock (but not German or Dutch) insists on drinking to excess whenever it can. Be interesting to discover why.

Even the UK where it is underage purchase that is illegal and drinking in public is banned only in specific places/times and applies irrespective of age has problems.

And there is no mention in the Bible of any of them ever
getting drunk.
