Groklaw Site Map

This page is designed to help you find your way around Groklaw, so you can enjoy all the features and resources. There's a clickable map, menu items explained, details on licensing and our comments policy, etc. There is so much information on Groklaw, it's hard to come up with an easy way to find it, but we've done our best.

[ Main ]  [ Map ]  [ Alphabetical ]  [ Popular Topics ]  [ Shortcuts ]

Main Menu

Here's the list of what most of you are looking for, with an explanation of what each item contains. A complete list of all the menu items, alphabetically arranged and explained, follows, below. We also have some of the more complex items listed by topic and explained in more detail.
  • Search - a full text search tool. If you don't limit the date parameters, sometimes it chokes
  • Home
  • Archives - A link for each of Groklaw's articles, chronologically arranged.
  • Contracts - Contracts, copyrights, and other documents that are prominent in the SCO litigation.
  • Groklaw Info - comments policy, mission statement, awards
  • HTML How To - instructions on how to do comments in HTML that works on Groklaw
  • Legal Docs - Links to the various Courts' dockets lists in the early days, along with exhibits. However, while useful for historians and fine detail, at a certain point, we switched to the Timelines, where you will find more recent documents, so I would suggest you begin with the Timeline pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for, then try Legal Docs or Legal Docs with Exhibits
  • Legal Research - a collection of resources on IP law for your research pleasure. If you want to understand fair use, for example, I'd suggest starting there
  • SCO - starting point for all Groklaw information on SCO
  • SCO Financials - SEC filings, articles, including articles on the bankruptcy
  • SCOBankruptcy - a more complete collection of all information on Groklaw about the bankruptcy
  • Sean Daly - all the interviews conducted by Sean Daly, alphabetically arranged
  • Site Map - This page with its clickable map.
  • Timelines/Mots - Legal filings in the various cases. Jumping off point for all the cases. However note that the menu offers links to the main ones, as well, such as IBM Timeline, BK (bankruptcy) Timeline, and Novell Timeline. This page also has links to motions in the SCO saga.
