An awful lot of flights to Canada might just possibly enter US Airspace so
recently they have demanded a list of passengers from the carriers.
I'm sure it won't be long before people travelling from the UK to Canada have to
pay their $14US to the US Gov and get an ESTA approval to fly even though they
never have any intention of visiting the US.
Remember that many flights into Toronto come in over Lake Ontario whch has a
border with the US so the aircraft might possibly enter US airspace on its
approach so the US Gov has to keep all of us baddies (aka foreigners) out now
don't they?
But quite how flights to Halifax would ever enter US Airspace is quite beyond
me.
I fully expect Bermuda and the Bahamas and all the Carribean to be next of the
US Gov list just because a flight might possible be diverted to say Miami...
