2. The TCK is only necessary for anyone who
wants
to produce a
complete
compatible implementation of the Java SDK that they can call
"Java"
using Oracle's trademarks and logos.
This is a *very
important* piece of information. I know it
is
true but could you point us to
some documentation to prove
it? I will help me with some pro Oracle folks
around here.

Harmony did not get a TCK licence and that makes them and Google infringers on
the API Specification copyright.
I know that is silly, but it has spawned this multi-million dollar law suit
between two of the bigger IT companies in the world over an issue that only
geeks are interested in.
