Wouldn't an example of this infringement actually be only using 37
API packages, adding your own, making your own VM platform AND

...and in fact, as Google has stated many times, Android is
not a Java VM, and has never claimed to be so...it's a
*Dalvik* VM, specifically tuned for smartphone use, that
jettisoned the parts of Java VM useless for smartphones and
with other Java VM incompatible parts added *FOR SMARTPHONES*
....
so where is the infringement again? The language is GPL-ed,
and Android isn't claiming to be Java VM or Java VM -
