What is Oracle's recourse if any? I mean it is not fair to oracle if there was
nothing wrong with the email to have it rejected. Plus the time waste that could
have been spent on other questions or another witness.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

The question isn't so much whether the letters had been written sometime, by
someone, to someone.
The question is, did the lawyer give enough information to put them in the
correct context, or did he deliberately conceal the information necessary to
place them in context?
The answer the witness gave was: no, the necessary information was not there and
the witness would not speculate on what context those letters were in.
The witness was not being obstructive; the lawyer was being obscurantist.
(Which, as we've seen, is rather the rule than the exception with these
lawyers.)
