I won't. I'll simply say "I don't know.". After all, I didn't put the head
there, I wasn't there when it was put there, why should I have any clue
how it got there?
If you show me a picture of a car the same make and
model as mine but with no identifying details (eg. license plate) visible and
ask me if it's my car, I'm going to say "I can't say.". It could be, or it could
be one of the thousands of other cars of that model and color that were made,
and you've given me insufficient information to tell which it is.
And ff
the car was in long-term parking at the airport for 2 weeks while I was out of
the country and the head was found the day before I got back, I'm not going to
make your case any easier for you. You're going to have to lay down the chain of
documentation showing that the car in the photo is mine, you're going to have to
present the physical evidence showing the head was in the trunk of that
particular car, and you're going to have to present the forensic evidence
showing when the head was placed there. If you're missing links in that chain,
my lawyer's going to want to use them to rip your case to shreds and I'm not
going to hinder him by helping you fill the gaps in your case. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
