Macs More Likely to Carry Windows Malware Than Mac Malware, Study Finds
Yep.
However, the hubris of the i/os (etc) being imune to virus infection, will end
up being a haunting affair for all Apple users, someday (not a matter of if,
just when).
Computer Security, is, an oxymoron, period.

Re: BP engineer arrested for allegedly deleting oil spill text messages...
However, some testimony exists where folks on the platforms, who were to monitor
the sensors down deep at the point of concern (before the event), reported that
the computer system that showed the sensor data (sensor was input, computer was
reporting tool), that the computer would crash, etc (making them not trust the
compter, or the data, because of this problem). One then has to ask, was the
crashing computer problem, a typical KNOWN "blue screen of death"
problem...?
Remeber, the Navy had such crashing problems on a new ship they put out to sea
(modern computer run ship, including weapon systems) and during excercises once
had it crash, and it took all day to get techs out there on the ship, to reboot
the system. Guess which OS was running the ship?
Question the press needs to ask is - if the sensor equipment were running ok,
with the computer too, then would the negative event ever have happened in the
first place? Gee - where are the true investigative reporters these days?[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

See how valuable all these software patenets and silly IP
lawsuits are? Do you really think Congress will do something
to minimize them? I think that Congress will pass laws to
promote growth in this "industry" as a way to stimulate the
economy.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
