"North-facing
Bedroom [double] [bathroom ensuite]
Bedrooms, 2 [single]
Bathroom
Open Plan Living Area
Kitchen [Porch off]"
If I put it in a book then I could copyright that instance, possibly. But this
instance is different.
Direction = North
Bedroom[0]{size => double}{type => ensuite}
Bedroom[1]{size => single}
Bedroom[2]{size => single}
Bathroom
Living Area{type = 'Open Plan'}
Kitchen
Porch{Location => 'off kitchen'}

I think the judge has thrown out the implementation of,
bungalow (room parameters).
It's just the lovely sweep of the estate.

"Is an expression of an idea. If it was sufficiently original it could be
copyrighted."
The idea? Or the expression? Even if the expression is copyrightable (debatable
under the scenes a faire and merger doctrines), the idea isn't, period. That's
a foundational principle of copyright law.

Bear in mind, like most Judges, he is very busy.
He has to schedule time to study, and preparing for one trial while his mind is
very busy holding another trial is not necessarily a wise thing to do.
He expects the lawyers for both sides to explain things to him - not sure if I
think that's sensible - the blind leading the blind quite often I suspect ...
but that's the way it works.
And given the pressure on Judges, it might not work very well any other way.
Cheers,
