Microsoft Windows is the threat. I doubt that the FDA will
see that, though. After all, they didn't see how Windows
violated their own regulations on being able to recreate the
device from scratch, which explicitly requires that the
device be fully defined in all components and installation
instructions.
Windows, like genetic engineering, was approved by the FDA
because of the money, not because of the technology.
BP blowouts, anyone? Aircraft carrier blue-screens, anyone?
