You've never *known* you've used java.security. If you've loaded a class (like,
to run any Java program), you've used it, whether you know it or not.

AWT (abstract window toolkit) is the standard 'Pure Java'
way of creating
GUI applications. There are some alternatives
like Eclipse SWT, but if you've
ever been unlucky enough to
stumble upon a Java applet, you've probably used

If you personally never used this does not mean the platform can normally
