Is a yellow, brown-spotted, long-legged, hoofed animal with a short neck still a giraffe?

You earlier asked if anyone could understand you.
I for one do, cause I have come to the same conclusions
as you have. There's absurdity in Alsup's questions.

Just we shouldn't blame him. He's just getting to grips
with it all, and knowledge is power in the hands of
esp. this judge.

This is correct, and is why Oracle is suing Google. Apple and
Microsoft didn't want Sun/Oracle to have control over their
development platforms (API, Language) so they created their
own. Google didn't want Sun to have control but they also
didn't want to create an (entirely) new platform, so they took
what they wanted from Java, Sun be damned.
