Alsup is back in his seat. He says one of the jurors has had conversations
outside the jury regarding the trial over the weekend.

Judge has brought out the bad juror. Middle-aged woman with silver hair who
apparently consulted with her patent attorney husband.

Google would like judge to interview at least one more juror to see if this has
affected their deliberations. Judge is mulling what to do.

Judge: has that influenced your thinking about the case. Just
say yes or no. Juror: no. I made up my mind last week.

Judge asks if anyone feels they can't disregard what the 1
juror said. Nobody raises their hand. Judge going to send
them back to deliberate

Completely Oblivious to what is going on
Authored by: MDT on Monday, May 07 2012 @ 04:01 PM EDT
Ok,
This would explain why I don't ever agree the tech reports from ZDNet.

Rachel King ‏ @ZDNetRachel : I see some handshaking going on over on Google side. Technically the shot at a mistrial is better than nothing at this point, right?

The above just flummoxes me. Did she just not bother doing anything at all with regards to research on this trial before trying to cover it? Or did they send an intern?

If someone is giving realtime updates using Google+, please
tell me. I'd much prefer to follow the case in realtime on
Google+ or Google News (and the irreplaceable Groklaw) than on
Twitter for many reasons. Thanks!
