It is about copying the SSO of the API
That is the question that was put to the jury.
I do not disagree that the Google basically said "yes we used the
SSO", or that the question was framed in such a way as to suggest that 1A
could be anything other than "yes", in particular with the responses
to supplemental questions from the jury.
I challenge you to compare the 166 packages with "Oracles SSO" of the
37 and show that it was 'copied' from Sun/Oracle , it was copied and it is
significant copying amongst the implementation source code, all 166 packages and
2.5 million lines of it, and that is not transformative.
The question should never have been put to the Jury.
But having done so the Jury should have been given the right instructions and
the chance to do the job properly.
