As opposed to simply decompiling and then including the resulting source
code in your project. which is 100% copyright violation

Reverse engineering is the process of taking something apart and
understanding it. In short, a mental process, where tools are used to
assist in learning something (by inspecting the thing being reverse-
engineered).
Decompiling is a straight bytecode-to-source translation. Fully automated,
and more like what a compiler does than what a human does while
reverse engineering.
A decompiler is a useful tool to aid in reverse engineering, but here is was
simply used to copy-and-paste the implementation of a class that there
