Find for the defendant because plaintiff can never win?
If that's what the judge thinks is the way to go, and it works, then just get
the job done.
But it risks a mistrial, which is the mile that BSF takes after getting an inch
of leeway.
If they were sueing someone who wasn't rich, it would be a crime.

And I'm relatively sophisticated at mathematics. For a true layperson, math is
not taught at the level of axioms, theorems and proofs. One can get a
"college-level" education, including calculus and statistics, without
them. Of course, the material taught is all technique and applications, with no
deeper understanding of what's really going on, which is kinda limiting.
