I'm wondering whether someone is trying to argue that 'a lot of math' is
something greater than mathematics? Are they trying to argue that carrying out a
lot of mathematical operations, in a specific order, is clearly not the '1+1=2'
that people are familiar with, not what they were taught at school. I worry
that such an argument might work with non-Computer Science / non-programmer /
non-mathematicians.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Do you mean "computer instructions" at the time they are carried out
by the processor, "computer instructions" as they might be abstracted
from compiled code, or "computer instructions" as they are expressed
in the source code?
