Think Big
Carroll Shelby died this weekend at 89. I have a poster on my wall ....
Small town guy who made it big. You all have heard of Shelby Cobra's. I'm
talking about the original ones.
Take a British sports car, an AC Bristol, with an aluminum body, and put a 650
HP motor in it. Insane, radical, dangerous ...
Carrol Shelby was a dreamer. We need more of them.
This was and is my ultimate car.
The poster on my wall shows a 1966 427 Shelby Cobra ...
0 to 100 and back to zero in 14 seconds. Pretty awesome in 1966 - and even
now.

We need more dreamers. It applies to software too,
RIP Carroll Shelby

Wall Street Journal and I don't trust them on tech stories so things
could be other than they say but it's interesting and likely true as far as it
goes. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
