His views obviously don't represent the majority of the jury.
I'm wondering if the other jurors snubbed him when he was
being interviewed.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

otherwise it will always befall the person with the strongest
will and most dominant character.
Am I --accused regularly of being too dominant myself --

Well, because of his strongly held views, there
will now have to be
another trial, costing more
millions.
Oracle appears to also be a
factor in having a second trial, no? If they weren't so obdurate and greedy, we
wouldn't have needed a first one, either.
If the juror really believed a
certain way, is it really our place to question the fact that he was willing to
stick to his guns? In some movies, such a person is the hero... --- -Rich

The foreman (Greg Thompson) is not the one who asked why it must be unanimous.
Elisabeth Hostiynek (sp?) asked, "I'd like to know why the vote by the jury must
be unanimous. Why wouldn't a majority-one way or the other-be sufficient to
decide any given question? This was on p. 32 of the compiled jury notes. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
