I hope Google might consider helping Motorola stand up
to the big bad MS wolf. How many of MS patents are
even worth the paper they are printed on?[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Dear politicians...
Please legislate against the current 'package deal' model, which only serves
companies in extracting more money from their customers.
It is shafting consumers when cable TV providers are allowed to force people to
buy a subscription to 20 channels to get the one or two they want, when
scientific magazine publishers force universities and libraries to buy access to
publically funded research papers at prohibitive bulk prices, and when hi-tech
companies demand an all-or-none license purchase for their phantom IP.
Imagine having to pay for a refrigerator every time you need milk...
Regards
The consumers who, in the end, are the only ones ending up paying for it
