slashdot scoops Groklaw! Supreme Court Orders Do-Over On Key Software Patents
Authored by: BJ on Thursday, May 24 2012 @ 01:40 PM EDT
PJ, sorry. I read 'scooped' as 'scraped' (i.e. used Groklaw as a source), and
commented in that fashion.

Slashdot is for Geeks period ??
Authored by: artp on Thursday, May 24 2012 @ 01:53 PM EDT
I used to frequent Slashdot as my go-to tech news source.
That would be many years ago now. It has disappointed for a
long time now.

There are several sites that I just don't click on anymore.
Slashdot is one of them. You might want to take a new survey
of tech news sites.

slashdot is for kids
Authored by: Anonymous on Friday, May 25 2012 @ 03:17 AM EDT
No, slashdot is not for geeks, it is for kids playing geeks. And that explains
perfectly why someone was getting sweaty palms over slashdot allegedly scooping
groklaw. It is immature childish behavior.

It wasn't much better on slashdot in the old days, but then I was younger and
could better stand the immature attitude.
