I find that /. has a few useful articles a week.
If you go looking for the comments you'll run into trolls and shills and
whatnot. There are often a lot of articles which are pure advertising. Don't
like the slant of the articles, write your own. Complaining only gets you so
far. Eventually if you really want change you have to make it happen.
The nature, and at one time massive audience, of the site has always attracted
trolls, shills and astroturfers.
Were you expecting something different? Why?
I get my news from Groklaw, /., BBC, RedState, EFF, Google News, and lots of
tech, non-tech, left and right wing sites.
But not @FOSSPatents.
I see the world from all-sides, filtering and weighing the result. It is the
closed mind that loses. Yes, some of the sites are infuriating in their slant.
