The wikipedia article on "Hanlon's razor" says that "Never
ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence" has
been widely attributed to Napoleon Bonaparte.
According to wikipedia, Robert J. Hanlon's version (involving stupidity) was
anticipated years earlier by Robert A. Heinlein. Given the similarity of names,
it is conceivable that there is a recursive application here.
I did the search that led me to wikipedia on Google, not Bing.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I really did not expect the Google take down story to even
make the news unless Google saw Microsoft displaying
inconsistent standards. Its nice to see there is still someone
out there to write the story. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
