Please stay off topic in these threads. Fancy formatting and clicky links in
HTML Formatted Mode are fine as long as they are off topic.[ Reply to This | # ]

Pick your News here. Please type the title of the News Picks article in the
Title box of your comment and include the link to the article in the body of
your comment, preferably as a clicky posted in HTML Formatted mode, for
everyone's convenience once the article has scrolled off the News Picks
sidebar.
<a href="http://example.com/article.html"> Example </a>
(That space before and after the text in the link works around a geeklog bug
that sometimes causes a broken link when you post a comment)

IIRC They came one juror short of losing... Which shows they have just as much
gall as the people at GS...

You deserve a lot more than a few days at the beach. Thank you for all you have
put into Groklaw. Now take it easy and keep sleeping in as long as you can.

pdftotext works well on #397. I'd bet it will work equally well on all of them.
In the pdftotext output the line numbers are on separate lines, and line numbers
and text lines are separated by blank lines, but you can pipe the text file
through
grep -v '^$' | grep '[^0-9]'
and get nothing but the raw text.
Sometimes the order of lines within a paragraph is mangled though, but that's
easy enough clean up with your favorite text editor - much easier than doing a
transcript from scratch. [ Reply to This | # ]

... is November 18th.
That's the day that our court reporter, cpeterson, reckoned that Judge Motz had
been shouting at and arguing with Counsel for Novell... [ Reply to This | # ]
