I *do* think companies have moral characters...they arise out of the collective
action of the group. That is, every group has a soul.
Question: what can you *not* say to a customer? I'd love to see that code of
ethics...and by the way, the "why we lie" researchers indicate that
reminding people of such codes is an excellent way to control cheating.

I'm with you. People who say companies have no
morals are saying, to my ears, Yay, we don't have
to have morals except in private lives. It's part
of the whole "let's rip off everyone's money, and
say we did it for the shareholders." What a joke
that turned out to be. All the money goes to execs
