Perhaps not the smartest idea to use a failing mobile company to
launch a hard selling phone OS. Still asking is all that
attention really free. How many articles are written about WP7
and Nokia/WP7? If not free, who is paying?
I suppose for takeover it would not be interesting for some use
of patents like by Motorola Mobility, the patents are gone or the
key players have already licences.
On the other hand, this may just be a company where an other
policy may make a difference. The kind of company's bought by
some just to change their policy and resell the stock.
Let's make a try. Start selling the hardware to other vendors.
Sell hardware with only a bootstrap OS, let the consumer or the
provider shop for an OS. Keep existing markets, and trusts with
Symbian but appease customers wanting the new thing with offering
a future optional Android upgrade and support.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
