1. I have a section in a couple of my articles about the
"process" of books/art/music and why that's not patentable.
2. Emulation is not what I'm talking about here. Of course
you can emulate, but then you're just using the solution
from one platform on the other - and it may not work in any
event if the hardware is not there. Emulation often fails,
though it is admittedly better now than it used to be.
3. The general purpose computer does not have a known use
for stuff that hasn't been invented yet. By your argument,
there can be no new process, since they are all new uses of
molecules, which can be used to do anything anyone ever
thinks of in the future. That's just not how the statute
