Nvidia has released details only for the basic 2D framebuffer setup. Everything
else has to be reverse engineered.
<p>
AMD/ATI has a more comprehensive documentation publication policy, which I
think is qualitatively comparable to what Intel has released. Intel seems to
engage more thoroughly with the FOSS community though, as the FOSS drivers
are primary for Intel, while AMD uses closed-source drivers as primary support.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

nVidia gives almost nothing. This looks pretty complete, and is fairly standard
for Intel. AMD/ATI gives quite a bit more than nVidia, but not
everything.
Intel isn't going to be giving the graphics interfaces on their
smartphone platform or Atom, as that's owned by Imagination Technologies.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
