Is it right?
What kind of question is that?
It is exactly what is happening as a result of this law.
Funds will transfer from the young and healthy to the
old and sick. That's the whole point of the thing.
You think this law is still going to be around
when today's 25 year old reaches 70? There is a big
baby-boomer generation that needs CT scans and
chemotherapy, today! That's what it's all about.
The federal government is obligated to pay for the
healthcare of millions of people. The only way that
can happen without completely busting the bank is
to widen the base.
In 2009 my US Rep held town hall meetings. She said
healthcare reform had to pass. It's not about the
uninsured or about indigent people wandering into
emergency rooms. It is about the obligations
already in place and the costs of those obligations.
Have to enroll young healthy people who are a source
of funds.
