An entreaty

Perhaps, as a country, we'd be better off if such people DID
move to Canada (and renounce citizenship)?

An entreaty

The REALLY Sad thing about that threat is that CANADA has universal healthcare
and GAY Marriage. Its exactly the things the people who are throwing a temper
tantrum over this - HATE ! Which shows how intelligent they are (and there
arguments are similarly ridiculous)

don't come to Canada

If I assume that those who are throwing the temper tantrum are threatening
to move to Canada over their own government's efforts to improve health
care in America, i will predict that they would not be welcomed here with
any enthusiasm.

While we know that our health care system is far from perfect, we generally
feel that it is much better than America's. Why would we want a bunch of
people who feel that they are being taxed too much and want to reduce the
level of service that is being provided through our government. (preumably
so it could be provided through insurance companies which will make large
profits)

I, for one, appreciate what we have. I pay relatively high taxes, but within
the past six months I have had two heart events resulting in seven stents
being implanted in two separate procedures. I am continuing with
supervised exercise therapy to improve my vascular health, and I have yet to
see a bill.

If, on the other hand, you want to come to Canada because we have great
health care, a tolerant society and you want to particpare in our vibrant (at
least right now) economy, please do.
