Oh gosh, not a thing I don't guess? The gp just made it
sound like this would be shared object code with
possible read, write, execute, setuid, and setgid
permissions loaded into memory on boot. And also that it
would be a much larger attack surface. He did not say
that specifically and I certainly am not sure what the
implementation is? I'm sure it will be perfectly safe
though. This cuts both ways I guess. One could view it
as an extra layer of security between userland and the
iron itself. If it is breached however, it then becomes
an extra layer of obfuscation for the 'z0rs. How does
Windows do "chmod" anyway? Or is your new computer really
just a fancy X-box?
