In the UK it would be a case of "the defendant handed you that win on a
plate. You lost everything else. Tough luck, you're paying".
"handed on a plate" as in "they admitted it instantly"

According to F.R.C.P. 54, Google
would have to ask for them via formal motion.
A claim for
attorney's fees and related nontaxable expenses must be made by motion unless
the substantive law requires those fees to be proved at trial as an element of
damages.
