OK, so you insist on deliberately being an idiot. Nobody
could be so completely, consistently stupid without working
at it.
"quite a few possible states" -- is still a SINGLE, FINITE,
COMPUTABLE number. Enumerating every single one of those
states is an obvious and trivial mathematical procedure.
It is not possible, even in principle, to enumerate every
combination of the raw physical materials used to build a
primitive aircraft, much less all the other materials that
the Wrights chose NOT to use. Forgot about that, didn't ya?
Actually, your refusal to admit the difference has made me
think about it in greater depth and come to a more complete
understanding of the principles involved.
The computer is an artificially constructed environment which
is constrained within specific limits, making it possible
to predict absolutely everything that can be done within
those limits. Physical materials in the natural world are
NOT constrained or limited, making it IMpossible to predict
everything about them. Which is why planes still crash.
