And I commend you to Dan Ravicher's video presentation at Google " The Patent Pollution Problem: Its Causes, Effects and Solutions " wherein he notes the average patent application has 19 examiner hours expended during processing and at the time the video was made the Patent Office was churning out 4,500 patents every Tuesday.

There's an easy question here. How did the application get published in such a state with Claim 8 not having any support in the Description or prior art?
