He usually has some reflection of reality in what he says. This is a comment
from another universe. He must know that Android is based on a Linux kernel and
has Dalvik apps programmed, often, in Java. He has been 'reporting' on Oracle v.
Google and has been advising Oracle on patent issues.
We know that Google were approached by the Android company with a prototype
phone because they were looking for support. Instead, Google liked the idea so
much that they bought the company; hence Android phones being Java on Dalvik
with Linux. Where on earth in the history of Google did he see plans for a
Blackberry-like phone? What part of Java, Dalvik and Linux did he imagine Google
stole from Apple?
There is not even a hint of truth in that comment. Perhaps he expunged all the
facts he learned from the Oracle v. Google trial when it went in the opposite
direction to what he imagined would happen.
Whatever. This comment is not even worthy of FM.
