Footnote 9 -> Footnote 3/22
Authored by: bugstomper on Saturday, August 04 2012 @ 07:17 PM EDT
Following the link to the ruling and searching for a footnote 9 found only
something that did not seem relevant to the sentence. However Footnote 3/22
contains the entire 300 words in 6 quotes including the part about Nixon being
"out of touch with reality".

2l3 --> 213, and extraneous [PDF]
Authored by: achurch on Saturday, August 04 2012 @ 08:37 PM EDT

In the quote from IBM's Memorandum in Support, right at the end, a "1" got mis-OCRed as an "l" (it looks like this is present in the original Groklaw article as well):

280. The header files that are not in the Linux kernel are no more expressive than those in the kernel. (Ex. 213 ¶¶ 39-43, 76-77; Ex. 214 ¶59.) The ELF files (including those not in the Linux kernel) represent one of only a handful of possible implementations of a few rudimentary functions (Item 272). (Ex.2l3 ¶77.)

Also, in the paragraph preceding the quote, there's a "[PDF]" which looks like it was copied from the article:

There is a bit more detail in IBM's Redacted Memorandum in Support of its Motion for Summary Judgment on its Claim for Declaratory Judgment of Non-Infringement [PDF] that clarifies it more:

But there's no direct link to the PDF. I'm not sure whether you intended to include such a link or not, but just so you know.
