Zynga is probably toast in the UK
Authored by: Wol on Sunday, August 05 2012 @ 03:44 PM EDT
Please note that a CRITICAL part of that ruling was that the defendant had
already been convicted of copyright infringement. The ruling said "you've
been convicted and now you're trying to get round the conviction. No
dice".

So it's unlikely to be used as a precedent very often. There are too many (in
the normal course of events) counter-precedents.

Cheers,
Wol

UK case law is not a precedent for a case in the US. There was a war of
independence 240+ years ago.
