I think this is mincing too fine for me. There is a big
SAMSUNG logo that is 1/3 the thickness of the bezel. It is
no different (and in most cases bigger, and certainly in
relative size to the screen) than what you see on the bezel
of most TV screens, including the Samsungs
(http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs).
On the other hand, Apple did not even bother to place any
identifying label. It could be easily argued that it is
Apple that is contributing to any perceived confusion.
But you may be legally right. I am making a logical
argument, which may not be legally valid. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

The "SAMSUNG" on the front of the Galaxy Tab, is small enough that
the text
on
most apps or web pages is at least as large.
It borders on
the "fine print" on
ads on TV commercials.
Fine print? "The text
in most apps or web pages is at least as large?" That's absurd. You can
clearly see in this
Samsung page that what you are saying is not true. If you had written that
the headers on apps and web pages are "at least as large" it might have been an
honest statement, but not an interesting one.
