Ideas tend to be passed along from older lawyers
to younger lawyers, as long as there is money to
be made from the ideas. Even if just waiting would
work, because all younger lawyers for some reason
have a completely different view on patents, it
will take too long to wait for all the "old school"
lawyers to die.
No, "wait and see" is not an option here. As much
as I hate to admit it, this is a fight, and we
need to take it, not walk away from it, because
there is nowhere else to go. The good thing is
the bullies are trying to beat us in a game of
smarts, even though they try to twist the rules
to make it incomprehensible to technical experts.
They have invaded our homes, but we know the
terrain and I am confident that we can beat them
silly. We just mustn't let them trample our lawns
and silently wait for them to leave.
